Infrared Radiometers

The Infrared Radiometer measures remote surface temperatures to within 0.2 C.

Wiring the Infrared Radiometer

The red, black, and clear wires belong to a thermopile, which measures the target’s surface temperature. The green, blue, and white wires belong to a thermistor; which is used to correct the output of the thermopile.

Each infrared radiometer sensor includes a label on the wire (as shown below) indicating serial number and calibration date.
