Mounting the Sensor
Mount the net radiometer sensor out and away from the mounting device to minimize interference. The mounting device must provide rigid and stable support for the sensor.
The net radiometer sensor should be mounted level, with the cable and rod oriented towards the nearest pole, and where it has an unobstructed view of the horizon. It should also be kept away from any heat sources.
The net radiometer sensor is typically mounted at a height of 1.5 to 2.5 meters.
