Our spectroradiometers measure radiation with 1/2 nanometer bandwidth resolution.

Phytochrome Photoequilbria and YPF Weighting Factors

These weighting factors are necessary to convert measurement of the photosynthetic photon flux from a spectroradiometer, to units of Yield Photon Flux (YPF). Measurement of YPF may provide a more accurate indication of the potential for photosynthesis from a light source.

These weighting factors also include factors for calculating the Phytochrome Photoequilibria (PPE) from spectroradiometer measurements. These measurements are made automatically in software with the Apogee spectroradiometer.
