The AY-001 differential splitter allows the voltage signals from two sensors to be simultaneously measured by the microCache (AT-100) as differential voltage measurements.
The AY-001 works with any unamplified, analog, single-output sensor. Examples are:
- SQ-500-SS Full-spectrum Quantum Sensor
- SQ-110-SS Original Quantum Sensor
- SQ-120-SS Original Quantum Sensor
- SP-510-SS Upward-looking Thermopile Pyranometer
- SP-610-SS Downward-looking Thermopile Pyranometer
- SP-110-SS Silicon-cell Pyranometer
- SQ-620-SS Extended Range PFD Sensor
- SQ-640-SS Quantum Light Pollution Sensor
The Apogee Connect app has a 2 Channel setting to use this splitter. Collect the data by entering custom coefficients appropriate for your connected sensors, or enter “1” to record raw voltages. This setting will provide inaccurate "albedo" values in the app if you're not using pyranometers, but the raw sensor measurements will remain accurate. If you have questions about using this product, contact techsupport@apogeeinstruments.com for help with your own setup.
Note: This microCache splitter won't work with any sensor with multiple outputs (dual detector sensors), or one that needs an excitation voltage (thermistors, pyrgeometers, IR sensors).
