RMA Support Technician
Job Summary:
The RMA (Return Materials Authorization) support technician will take direction and work closely with the RMA manager to troubleshoot, repair, and recalibrate various electronic assemblies and instrumentation, while maintaining excellent records and communication. Other responsibilities include working with the technical support and engineering departments to assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions when needed. Duties may also include some interaction via email or phone with customers regarding product issues or to assist in troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting techniques
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on product improvement
- Driven to develop a technical knowledge of all products and their applications
- Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
- Be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
- Enthusiasm for being part of a small, growing company
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment that stresses quality assurance
- Certified in IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001, and/or IPC-A-610 standards
This is a full-time position with benefits. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, paid holidays, compensated leave, profit sharing, and more. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Work schedule is generally Monday-Friday 8 A.M. - 5 P.M.
