SU-300-SS: UV Index Sensor

$513.97

The SU-300-SS Ultraviolet Index sensor is a hardwired, unamplified analog sensor with a voltage outputThe sensor offers a low-cost option for detecting UV Index and UVB radiation from 270 to 315 nm. UV Index is a relative metric that scales linearly with the intensity of UV radiation that causes sunburn in humans. Measured UV Index can be converted to energy flux density units of watts per square meter (W m-2, equal to Joules per second per square meter) or photon flux density units of micromoles per square meter per second (µmol m-2 s-1). Typical applications include monitoring the filtering ability and stability of various materials, measuring UV Index/UVB radiation in outdoor environments, and monitoring UV radiation in laboratories and horticultural operations environments.
